What your old devices are still worth
After data erasure we check every device for function and condition. We resell working devices for you through our own channels and brokers. Defective devices supply spare parts or go to recycling.
System test and cleaning
We test and clean every device and remove all stickers as part of anonymisation. Blancco runs all function tests, for example for battery, data carrier and RAM.
Grading in four levels
Levels A, A-, B and D rate general functionality, appearance, pixel defects and battery performance. They determine the resale value.
Fixed price, planning certainty
For planning certainty, we offer the fixed-price model. It gives you a guaranteed buyback price, regardless of grading.
Own channels and brokers
We sell through our own channels and brokers, for example through our online shop Auctionline.
Repair, dismantle, recover
About 5% of devices are defective, and we repair around half of them. We dismantle the rest into spare parts and recycling material.
Employee shop with your logo
Your employees buy retired devices in a shop with your logo. You control access through your company domain.
How remarketing works
Erasure and test
After certified data erasure comes the system test. Blancco runs all function tests, for example for battery, data carrier and RAM.
Refurbishment
We remove all stickers as part of anonymisation and clean the device.
Grading
Every device receives a level from A to D.
Repair or dismantling
We repair about half of the defective devices. We dismantle the others into spare parts and recycling fractions.
Sale and settlement

How do we receive the residual value?

What do the grading levels mean?
Every level rates general functionality, plus appearance, pixel defects and battery. A stands for minor scratches and at least 30 minutes of battery life. A- allows 3 to 9 pixel defects and 15 minutes of battery. B allows up to 15 pixel defects and 30% battery capacity. D denotes defective devices.
Can we agree a fixed price?
Yes, gladly. With the fixed-price model you receive a guaranteed buyback price, regardless of grading.

What happens to defective devices?

We set up a shop with your logo, and access runs through your company domain. Devices come with Windows 11 Pro, 1 year of warranty and a 14-day right of return. Upgrades for Office, SSD and RAM are possible.
